I've been trying to get one for about a year, I really wanted it, but it seems a bit uncommon, since i found none available.
I ended up buying an ebc fujinon 2.8/35, which is a good lens, and too many other 35's, but if I found one I think I could make some room in my collection.
What a nice weather you're having there!
EDIT
How did you get it adapted to your nex? do you have a special adapter, or did you grind one? _________________ C&C and editing of my pics are always welcome

Thanks! My adapter past infinity a bit, so Fuji stick did fit into to reach infinity.

nice series attila. i particularly like 17 and 7. as for the lens, i had one as well and really did not think it was 'special' in any way to justify its reputation and price. i found it 'flat', not great color and pretty soft until you really stopped it down. for much less money i think the mir 35/2 is eons better.

Yes, I agree.
But I like to think that lenses are still important in the image process, aren't they? |

i must disagree, respectfully. yes, different digital 'engines' do yield differences in rendering. but a great lens will be a great lens on any but the crappiest cameras. assuming we are talking about competitive digi slrs, a 'sharp' lens will show sharp on each of them; a 'colorful' lens will show great color on each and high/low contrast lenses will exhibit those characteristics on each as well.
this lens is a case in point. i found it lacked sharpness and color on my old 5d and on my old ep2. i see the same issues here with a different camera. in fact even though the color is ratcheted upwith a 'vivid' setting, it still seems flat to my eye.

important sure, just sad to see people think low performance of lens , due lack of knowledge about PP, lazzy people and cheap camera combo. A lens surelly perform much different on latest digital cameras with better sensor than earliest one, what is make them to more less equal and not camera dependent, that is post processing. No post process same low level of knowledge than shoot wide open mostly. _________________ -------------------------------

I don't know why (nor I do care, anyway), but many of my lenses do render colors differently one from another. Often difference is subtle, sometimes non existent, more evident under some particular conditions. But looking at the results obtained with the same camera and settings with my (for example) super-takumar 2/35 vs Mir 24, I clearly see differences In color rendering.
That said, I like the samples from this fujinon, and I'd love to find one I can afford. _________________ C&C and editing of my pics are always welcome

I went out today with a CZJ Tessar 50 on the NEX and the results were flatter and grayer than the day was, but I was surprised by how much colour / contrast must have been in the RAW image because some PP soon pulled them back into decent images. Surprisingly the Pentax K10 which uses the same sensor brings out much more colour than the NEX with this lens. _________________ LENSES & CAMERAS FOR SALE.....
