I went hiking last Sunday in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. This area is breathtaking, in more ways than one (most of the trails are over 10,000 ft and some go up to 12,500 ft in elevation). I hiked over a few different trails and got up to the Pawnee Pass trail, but didn't go over because of the continuous rain (and some good lightning storms).
I covered a little over 8 miles and took many photos. The weather wasn't really cooperating, so many of the photos aren't as good as they could have been (dull skies), BUT I got a few photos I wouldn't have got otherwise. Here are a few of the photos.
These photos were taken with my Pentax K20D and the Super Takumar 28mm F3.5 lens (second addition with large front element). I used a Cokin P filter holder, a 3 stop graduated ND filter and a Cokin blue/gold variable polarizer.

Thank you, I appreciate it! Now I just need to work of posting the pictures right  I post the same way on other forums and it works right. Don't know what I did wrong. |

I put it in the first post, but with the wall of photos, it was easy to miss.

Thanks. Yeah, the Tair 3 goes everywhere with me, even hiking at 14,000 ft. It is just too good to not take along. My photography/hiking pack weighs 30 lbs. I think I have a problem with taking too many lenses, all of them old M42 lenses, all are fully metal and glass, so HEAVY |

Thanks! I'll probably start posting my different series here every few days, until I catch up. I've had a DSLR now for about 2 years, which always goes with me on my hikes, camps, dual sport rides.
Hope you all don't mind if I post some of my older photos. I hike/camp almost every weekend, so I'll be a pretty regular poster here. |

THank you. I just started using filters a few months ago, so I am still in the learning stage. I need to pick up a CPL and a few other filters so I can get the most out of my photography. |
