Seems quite a lot DOF @f4 with extension tubes, is it a crop? Anyway, nice shot and that's true that fly are quite ugly but they still are good subjects for macro Very Happy

There was no crop but I did shoot in the shade, about 50mm extension. I guess focus couldn't have been better otherwise the thin DOF would have ruined it. I am really not sure but I would not say I used more than f/5.6. At ISO800 I could not close the blades much more than that without loosing too much light for focusing and my body doesn't perform well @ISO1600.
