Amazing macros.

I'm always wondering how do you take such wonderful pictures with such cheap and not so good lenses - i guess this is the photographer talent here Smile

Who needs hundreds of dollars macro dedicated lenses? Snap an industar on some tubes and have fun!

Do you recall which apertures you used?

Very nice! Last one is my fave.
F/11? That's so stopped down for what I do. What ISO?

I like the lens but it is no match for true macro lenses or even pseudo macro lenses due to the ultra awkward aperture mechanism

I've never had a true macro lens but I can say that in fact the main feature of this lens is not the ease of use .... Wink

Ah, but the quality you see in these pics makes up for that! Smile

You're right, though. I used this lens for every shot I took with my very first SLR, a Zenit 3 in the 1960s. Because it was so fiddly to change the aperture, I used to set it somewhere around midway (depending on the weather) and not adjust it again unless it was really necessary. I just realised I STILL do that to this day! Smile

Caution!
this photographer is capable using any lens with great results.
So not everyone can make such pictures with this lens
