Rather than hijack another thread, a couple of shots through this lens.

The zebra, rather than the StarWars version, I have had it for ages, but first time on camera yesterday. Can't say I'm in love with this focal length (which must make me the weirdest person on this forum) but certainly the lens does well! Some cropped, all resized, no other PP.

Sorry about the noise !

You prove it how good this lens and 50mm focal length, I like portraits cat and little lady both are great!

Thanks for praise, but I always feel uncomfortable with 50mm. For me, it is too long for landscape, too short for portrait. This confirms I am indeed weird!

On the other hand, the pancolar does have VERY close focus. Which I do enjoy Smile

Pics look good and is probably above average, I just don't know how to justify for the difference in price tag that people usually ask over lesser known 50's.

Thaks for the praise again. I put it down to the lens Smile BTW you aren't to know, but it was the sunrise 17th August 2011 from Horndean, southern UK

Lovely samples of one of the true classics in the world of lenses. Love Horndean - went to school in Horsham.

Oh, I dunno. The colours may not be as good, but this 3.5/17 Tokina RMC perhaps gives a more dramatic view?
