Somehow the grey rock formations look like elephant´s skin to me. Cool

Looks BIG, but how big? There is no visual reference to inform viewer of actual size, not one tree, for example!

There is similar (but on much smaller scale!) layers of stone distorted from below, in Berkeley-Oakland hills -- some of it with layers aligned vertical(!).

next time I'll make a photo from a different angle and I'll try to include some some trees for size reference...
