I agree that #4 is the best, though I wish #3 were. I like the composition and layout of #3, but the DoF is too shallow (a limitation of the macro, totally unavoidable). With #4 I might make one tiny change, and that is I would have held the two leaves in the foreground down so they wouldn't be in the shot. I used to carry four small (bottle-cap-sized) magnets in my camera case so I could weigh down plant leaves in the foreground without risking damage o the plant.

Great insight in Australians botanics Shocked haven't seen any of those plants before.

Thanks for the compliments.
Tobias we have some rather unique flora here and this particular botanical garden does a wonderful job of displaying it. I can see myself investigating the place regularly to see what is currently in bloom.
