Thought developing it with coffee, wine or painkillers is cool? That's mainstream!
Pee seems to have also enough reducing power to develope film!
Simply mix your pee with soda (sodium carbonate) and a little ascorbic acid and you can develop easy films like APX100
Here'a an album on Flickr (not from me, APX100@ISO80, 50min):

Yes if they contain glucose, fructose, galactose, maltose or lactose it should work theoretically (with correct temperature and alkaline pH).
These sugars can be even also used to make mirrors from Ag-solutions
Under harsh conditions (pH, temperature) you can even use household sugar to reduce silver salts to silver

Oh nice, a pretty extreme drug. Do you have any links for development with belladonna?
Is urea really able to develop film? Sure? I thought more about uric acid if not ascorbic acid + soda alone. Urea would easily availble everywhere, for example in many skin creams and instant cooling packs. _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

well I don´t think belladonna is a drug, rather poison:) I´ve seen that on one czech darkroom forum but can´t find link anymore:(
with urea - maybe you´re right, uric acid sounds better. but I´m not much a chemist:) anyway, as you mentioned coffee:
http://caffenol.blogspot.cz/
sounds better for me, because in pee you cannot control the amount of chemicals - depends on what you drink and how long is party:) _________________ equipment doesn´t count, good photographs do |
