'The Blanco Was Blameless or It Was Balcone's Fault'

I think I mentioned somewhere here before that for the last few months I’ve been involved in a musical show production, the title of which is the name of this post. Long story there, basically a fellow named Russ Marlett and I wrote and the show. It was produced a few years ago in community theater to very good reviews.(It’s a total comedy, farce, melodrama)

Russ and his wife Shirley decided to start their own theater company and chose this musical as their first show, drafting me (again) to be the musical director. We wrapped last night after a month’s run and once again it went very well.

I haven’t been shooting much at all over that period but took my IR converted 40D down to the play last night and got a few shots.

These are the lead players:

This Character’s name is Travis Beauregard Crockett (Perry Redden), a Texas Ranger that carries three pistols and a rifle!




Her Character is Sugar Sprinkle Smith (Michelle Piersol). She’s a young cowgirl (A goat girl actually as she runs a goat ranch) whose father has just died and she has inherited the ranch. Evil people (a banker with a degree in law and his vixen of a wife) are trying to steal her ranch. Muahahahaha





She is verrry protective of her ranch (and anyone who tries to get backstage for that matter.




Of course in the end, Travis saves the day, catches the villain, marries the girl and they live happily ever after, giving me some more time to shoot pictures.(Muahahahaha)

How about the focusing with IR? Does Jupiter-9 have the IR focusing dot?
