Fantastic serie, what a colours festival .....I love them all!
Sunny weather give an other atmosphere to the carnival but on the other hands, it's more challenging to not overexposed the pictures, you did here for sure a great job.....and I'm also amazed with the IQ of this Contax zoom lens .....
Just one min punt, “your” ladies are a little bit less "sexy" than “ours” in the Netherlands ....... _________________ All my lenses are for sale, nikkor, Angenieux, Zeiss etc.....

Very nice series, this 100mm-300mm Contax seems to have prime-like capabilities!
Again: fantastic colours and I like how you made some people stand out of the crowd. _________________ Peter - Moderator

Thanks guys, yes, the VS 100-300 is a wonderful performer, probably the sharpest of all Contax zooms.
As the MTFs confirm, it is actually sharper wide open than both the 2.8/180 and 3.5/200 Contax primes are stopped down!
@Pich: our ladies here have other qualities, for instance lady in #49 can strangle a pork with her only hands!

In part 3.
I divided the pictures in three parts, because they were too many for one thread. _________________ Orio, Administrator

So, what would you choose between #42 and #43?
One stays, the other goes to the bin.
I would choose #42 for the slight difference in face profile and #43 for the quieter background. _________________ Orio, Administrator

Thanks for your advice! I can see the logic about removing the man. I can less understand about the hair (I don't find it hurting). All in all I think I will keep #42 (it's not an image I am really willing to spend much time in PP anyway...) _________________ Orio, Administrator

Thanks Graham!
So, you did buy a V-S 100-300 from Italy? Ebay or web store?
You will love the lens, absolutely.
It is one of my "never-to-sell" ones. _________________ Orio, Administrator
