Excellent! Congrats! Sharpest 1.2 wide open from Konica, Nikon, Revuneon (Cosina)

Congrats.
With correct settings, the lens is razor sharp, also at f1.2. Looks like you have a bit OOF.

I don't find the same Attila. My Hexanon 57/1,2 AE is sharp in wideopen. What version is your Pentax? I haven't test both head to head yet
This lens has softness but not losing detail in wideopen. very nice for portrait.

hoanpham, yeah I missed little, you know how difficult take picture of 3 years old active boy Very Happy

here's other shot

This lens looks great; it's possible mount to EOS or only NEX?

Blur is beautiful

I know. I shot ~250 frames with the nex5n yesterday, using OM55/1.2, and can pick out 20, in spite of high speed frame rate, evf, all my known tricks for MF... I consider ~10% is not bad at all Laughing

My samples of K50/1.2 and A50/1.2 there too.

Of course you can use it in EOS. Use Pentak K - EOS adapter
hoanpham, how is K against A performance? have you tested them side by side?
1 more, sorry same model Very Happy

K and A performance:
They both
- share the same weaknesses: wide open CA/PF in certain cases.
- very sharp wide open where it is in focus, razor sharp at f2 and smaller.
- have very thin DOF, and therefore difficult to use as head shoot

A50/1.2 is a little bit more contrast, but I have no proof. In many cases the K is as good.

Both are used to calibrate my focus screen Cool

Thanks IAZA, I'm going to look at the price it in eBay. I've 5D Mark II and Spotmatic SP I, and it could be used in both Smile

Please when you use them on eos DO NOT cut the aperture leaver, just remove it by dissasembling the back of the lens Smile that's the way to do it and use it on pentax again Smile

+1 Its better to leave the lens in original shape. specially when it in good condition.

I add some step down shot. represent freshy heavy rain here.

That's a supreme lens ! ... and super samples.

I have the A version but it has a defect, so never used it really.
I should bring it to repairman, it's definitely worth it I guess ...

Cheers
Tobias
