Hi,
today I received the first mount from Leica-R to Pentax. Converted at first my old Macro-Elmarit-R with this bayonet. Here few first test shots (subject one of my other passions) of an older tuner with some technical problems which I have to repair.

Rolf, it would be interesting to have your point of view and may be a quick test to compared the rendering with the same Leica lens on the Nikon D700 and pentax K5 body! _________________ All my lenses are for sale, nikkor, Angenieux, Zeiss etc.....

Thanks friends.
@ Pascal - will come back to this issue. At the moment I own only one mount and try it with different lenses. Believe that the Nikon works better with the Leica lenses. It could be that it is easier to find the focus due to larger and "better" viewfinder than the K-5. Ordered therefore today at Katz eyes a new screen for the K-5. When it will receive I will have in the meantime also 2 additional mounts (Leica-R to Pentax) so it is easier to make a comparison.

really nice harpsichord shot and what a great lute head ! but as Attila mentioned #2; it gives a lot of insight about the performance of that lens.
Cheers

Hi Rolf,
Nice shots. I have a 60 Macro Elmar that I am converting to Nikon mount as soon as my Leitax package arrives. I know everyone is interested in the D700 results but I only have a D300 to try it on.

Hi Peter. Welcome here in the forum.
I converted all my Leica lenses (10+) to Nikon F mount. With the 60er macro I had little bit more problems because I own a very old (1st) version with different mechanical components inside. Need few minutes more.
To convert the converted Leica-R lenses to Pentax PK is now a question of 5 minutes because only the mount has to be changed. At the moment I´m not sure whether I will let the 60er macro with PK mount.

Can see on the image that I must clean the unit today. Due to the fact that I have these components in my workroom I use it every day.

Thank you Rolf,
David from Leitax said that was one of the hardest to do. I have done AI conversions and added a chip to an AIS lens so I feel comfortable with it.
