The berries are starting to attract the parrots...I should be able to get a few more parrot photos as they come down to feed.Look forward to trying the mirror lens on these birds...you can get relatively close with some patience.These are hand held with minimal PP.

For the sake of my sanity will you PLEASE stop posting pictures that show sunshine?

I live in Portland Oregon and such pictures (which just appear on my screen with no prior warning) are likely to scare local children, who may have no idea that bright light and that yellow thing in the sky are natural and harmless?

I envy you guys for being cool...admittedly -15 is a little to cold.. Very Happy The Rosellas should be coming down soon and now I have a better range of lenses I am hoping for some better images.

My brother has one. Its about 6 years old now.

They are free range...they turn up in town as the berries come in to season.They are just across the road!

It seems to me that this serie is much more "green" than the mirror 500 one. Maybe a white balance issue ?

Yes, it could.

I read yesterday in a book that it's better to shoot greens with a -2/3 compensation.
