Really like 3 and 4, you nailed the exposure in 3 with difficult lighting! Shocked

hello, I've got that bessa L + heliar 15mm 4.5 3 months ago ... but my image taken so low-exposure . can you share some experiences when using this lens ? maybe +1/+2 EV in light-metering ?

PostPosted: Tue Feb 08, 2011 2:19 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

It has several reason.

1) This is a super-wide angle lens if light has different intensity in angle view zone it is very visible on pictures. I made lot more worst city shoots at home Hungary, where is no strong African sun than here.

2) Possible your film, slide sensitivity is not exactly same than written on box, for example I did expose Velvia 50 to ISO 25.

3) I think Bessa L has pretty simple light meter like handheld ones and as I mentioned at 1) light intensity can be very vary in a such wide angle view.

Do an exposure series with your camera on a subject where is light intensity is stable after all you know need to adjust your light meter or not.
