This is about shooting stereo images (for crossed eye viewing) of a Phalaenopsis hybride
orchid flower (*) in visible, ultraviolet and simulated butterfly vision using a special stereo
setup I'm currently investigating.

VIS (normal human vision image 400-700nm using UV/IR cut filter):

UV (ultraviolet image 300-400nm using Baader-U filter):

BV (simulated butterfly vision image 300-700nm using my XBV2 filter):

(*) as there is hardly anything else flowering now...

I love them all, #3 of course is the most interesting, The convergence of the images is right on.

Thanks Patrick! A flower, a flash, a lens, three filters, a camera and tripod was all needed.

crosseye works perfect, ... very nice ! I had to make the photos much smaller in the browser till I saw it. pitty that the detail was much less though. Maybe I do something wrong with my crosseye technic.

Cheers
