Same Contax-S Planar 100/4 on bellows.
It's getting dark at 5pm and I go nuts. The rink is not opened yet.
Better take pictures than do something else.

Hmm, it's strange.
Do you guys see some banding over the candle?
The original doesn't have anything.I'm thinking compression?

I like it, Soren!

I see the compression banding too in Firefox on switching from 'full size' to 'fit in window' view, much more than in version compressed by forum upload software.

Thank you Eugene!
Apart compression, any idea what else could cause banding?

In the middle and top sections of lamp? Candlelight flickers, is not steady light -- seeing here light & dark as shutter passes over sensor? Oh Idea, may also be moire from interaction of light passing through the multiple screens. I don't know, only brainstorming here Laughing If there is no banding whatsoever in original, then must be from re-size.

No banding here, CRT, LaCie Electron Blue monitor, Often calibrated.
