Lovely pics Steve, looks like another Leitax candidate. No doubt you are taking advantage of the healthy Aussie dollar.

Hi John,

I just bought 2 new lenses, the 100/2.8 APO and a 180/2.8. Both were from the same Aussie eBay seller, so the exchange rate didn't apply Sad

You need to buy a cheap Canon body, we could then organise a meet and you could try a few of my lenses..... All my lenses are totally stock standard as my body has been modified to accept Leica R

How is your collection coming along??

Look at that tree trunk in #2 it's snaking(I know it's not a word but how else would you describe it?) out of the ground Shocked

Thanks poilu and Mo,

Actually mo, it is 4 tree trunks! They are each separated by at least 2m , i took the shot so the trunks compressed to look as one... Your response is what i was aiming for in the shot, so thanks Very Happy

70 + lenses now Steve and very few of those are AF Some new MF buys recently like the Voigtlander Nokton 58 and the CZ Planar 50 f1.4. Only one problem, my little one bedroom flat is getting kind of crowded thanks to the kit.

Thanks ellepi and Rolf,

Actually Rolf, you are partly responsible for this purchase Shocked I was quietly saving up for a 80/1.4 lux, when i started noticing your 100/2.8 images.

The images you create with this lens inspired me to seriously consider looking for one over the 80/1.4.

I'm glad i did, this is my first day with it and i am very happy Very Happy

Number 2 especially impresses me because I am assuming the weather was somewhat overcast?

Despite this the image has great depth and the "3d" effect, many lesser lenses fail to capture the beauty of a scene with less contrasty lighting conditions but this is just fantastic.

You were correct fatdeeman, it was late in the afternoon and quite grey.
