For two months now I have a Helios-81M 53/2, which was supposed to be usable with Nikon bodies, but it didn't focus to infinity, and so I sent it to my Ukrainian friend in Berlin, who knows this whiz-kid, who already adapted my Flek 20/4 to Nikon AI.
He did a very good job, it is perfectly compatible now, and since he also added a small lever, it works like a normal AI lense. I shot a few pictures around the old Jewish cemetery, destroyed by the Nazis, which is surrounded by a wall with small metal plaques bearing the names of every Jewish citizen of Frankfurt, who was deported and killed. The doors to the cemetery are of silvery metal. Unfortuntely I cannot read the Hebrew characters. I often look through them at the very green grass with lots of dandelions.
All pictures at ISO 320

Here are three of the cemetery gate and the wall, all @f 4:

Right gate wing:

Here is a picture I took at our market at a central place in Frankfurt.
I was sitting with a friend in a beer-tent, where they serve organically brewed dark and light beer, the late-afternoon sun illuminated the blue tent with the picture of a beer-stein, @f 4:

The last picture is of a green fence I passed on my way home, also @f 4:

Seems to be a very special lens.

I love the first shot, and the beer-shot ...

Cheers
Tobias

Thanks for your remarks, Tobias. I added another shot of the right wing of the gate with a focus on the Hebrew letters.

Nice results, I love also the first and second shot, nice rendering and beautiful colors, well done!
I have also a few M42 lenses witch I love to convert/adapt to Nikon Ai, is your friend doing that job only for you (or friends) or also for other peoples Rolling Eyes ?

Nice pictures, Thomas.

The first one is impressive.
At first glance, I wondered how this green colour was so luminous.
I understood after reading you.
