I only have two and both are from your list Attila (Pancolar and Sonnar). I couldn't agree more, especially for 50mm Pancolar - it's an unbelievably fun lens. And a great-looking lens, too.
Flektogon is next on my to-buy list. _________________ Toni,

I can't comment on many of the lenses listed, as I've only got M42 Taks. I've got the Takumar 200mm F3.5, and think it's great. If the F4 is similar, then I can't argue the above at all. _________________ Camera(s) - Pentax *istD & K7

Heh, I have every lens on your list. I wouldn't put Tair-11A on the list, though; it's a good lens but in my opinion not a “must”. I'd add:
Helios-44-2 – I'd recommend this as a cheap “starter lens”.
Fujinon 55mm f/1.8 – Cheap to find with a Fujica body but excellent quality + unique Fuji colours & character.

erm well I've never rated the super/auto tak 55/f1.8 as very good for sharpness and nor the super 135mm f3.5, but the super 35mm f3.5 is very good. _________________ Canon A1, AV1, T70 & T90, EOS 300 and EOS300v, Chinon CE and CP-7M. I agree with Atilla on the CZJ Tessar 2.8/50. They are very easy to find and a good copy is fantastic, better than the Pancolar 1.8/50 IMO and a very good lens for the small cost.
I have tried a Super-Tak 1.8/55 and dislike it compared to the Super 1.8/50 and 1.4/50. The 1.4/50 Super is my favourite standard lens out of 12 tried so far, especially the first version. It changes character from dreamy and great for portraits around wide open to sharper at f4 and on.
A 1.4/50 S-M-C is on the way to replace it so it will be interesting to compare.
The Super/SMC Tak 2/35 is also on my list to try and compare to the Mir-1B. |

Great photo, is that the 55/1.8?. Agree on it being a lot better than the Pentacon and the Helios 44-2/M. The 50/1.4 can often be found for £40 which is not a great deal more. If on a budget I'd consider the CZJ Tessar 2.8/50 though which is often around £20:

I never tried any Takumar lenses. I have Pentacon 200/4, 15 blades. Someone wants it to traded with Tak 55/2. He'll add about $30 to me as part of trading. I want to know is it worthy ? I saw picture taken with his lens (wide open) isn't impressive
