Are you trying various google home pages? Select a different one from your usual, ie www.google.ie www.google.com instead of .co.uk

Here's a list

Looks hosts file on Mac and look where is redirection. /etc/hosts on Linux

something similar on Mac too. David had good suggestion perhaps only co.uk not compatible with Safari temporary.

here on windows google.co.uk works trouble free.

stupid! I think it's BT issue..

if you type in: google.co.uk - NO!

if you type in: www.google.co.uk - YES!

there is still problem with www.google.com!

thanks for your replies, guys!

I've had some hanging problems on and off today too Stan. Let's blame BT Smile

Safari was playing silly buggers all day yesterday Stan, I couldn't access Google or Gmail for most of the day, yet everything was normal with Firefox.

Well, Internet Explorer had the same problem on PC - that's why I would blame BT for this issue Smile
