I think it's one of the best looking light meters ever.
Color finder works well. Not for the color blind!
A test pic. No photo manipulation. I think it was a Kodak Profoto 100.

Thanks for showing - it's a lovely looking meter! I've just found one on eBay, boxed with case and instructions in nearly new condition. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |

That's great!
Mine had a problem with low light intensity. The needle did not move that much indoors. On the outside it was great, though.
The serial number is stamped on the box too. This way you can see if you got the original box.

Until quite recently they were very good at giving advice - willingness to support ancient products is one of the things that marked them out and made me glad I bought an old Gossen. Of course, the recession might have finished the job of the person who did that. _________________ Dave - Moderator

Sad but probably true.
Butkus has the manual http://www.butkus.org/chinon/flashes_meters/gossen/gossen.htm
Have not found instructions to calibrate it though. _________________ Camera shutter testers for speeds up to 1/1000th of a second. $14.99 |
