Sorry guys, I am really absent in the forum the last weeks - but my work gets me really busy at the moment ...

I was in Holland for some concerts lest days, here just a few impressions
from Utrecht and Amsterdam:

1) Amsterdam: view on the "grachten" near Spui and Leidse Straat

2) a typical dutch bike

3) Utrecht: Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen lived here

4) view on the facades of the "Kloveniersburgwal" near the red-light-district, Amsterdam
(that's the oldest part of the town)

5) I came across a photo-store in A'dam haarlemer straat:

I had a pretty funny experience there:
I went in there and asked the old guy for some
M42 and P/K Takumars. Soon I got the impression that
he doesn't really want to sell some of his great collection Wink (I wouldnt do nither) Smile
I especially asked for SMC 15/3.5 which I am searching for quite a while.
He told me that I am a crazy person, he has 10 people on a waiting list
for this lens...
Next I asked if he has some old Zeiss lenses. He said again that
I am a crazy person and "Zeiss lenses are pretty bad on digital cameras" Smile
A bit surprised I told him that there a some people who think differently about Zeiss Wink
He finally didn't give me an answer on my question if he has Zeiss lenses.

I think this guy has a lot of trusted customers which he supplies but doesn't
give a shit about tourists like me Wink

Finally I bought a Pentax Super A camera body in Amsterdam, and some film rolls,
yeah ...

Cheers
Tobias

Hi Tobias,

funny I know most of these places and also that photo shop in Amsterdam since I'm there several times a year and like it a lot (not just that store I mean...)

Great work, incl. that "little planet"!

Andreas

You never fail to delight with your magic eye. Amsterdam has long been one of my favourite cities and you have really caught it.

@Attila
I dind't do more shots, cause of lack of time ;(

patrickh, thanks for your words !

#1, where the no driving sign is is one beer bar which I have frequented heavily when I lived near it. Fantastic to see familiar locations!
