Damn this winter... I'n not much of a winter photographer so until spring has arrived I will keep collecting more precious glass - and shoot a photo or two.

Or three... Fiddling around with the Primoplan yielded this. Pre-war glass may be a little low in contrast, but there's nothing else to complain about. Especially not in the case of the Primoplan! Too bad it's very rare, and I concur with no-X that it's incomprehensible why such a low number of Primoplans have been sold.

Sorry for the already well-known subject Wink

I wish I had everyday subjects as boring as yours!
As for your Primoplan, it looks great for old fashioned style portraits. I would buy one if only they were priced more reasonably.

Unfortunately, at these prices:

buying is totally, completely insane. For those sums I can get a Leica Apo-Summicron and have it delivered personally to home by the Leica CEO Laughing

It looks good.
Still I prefer your old tak 83mm.

Thanks guys!

With spring approaching, I will try to use the Primoplan more often. Of course, I like my Tak 83 to death, but the Primoplan is one of my favorites too. In the coming months I hope to show you why.
