Thanks! I've been sort of stranded (both of my vehicles can drive in the snow ok, but there is a huge risk of getting stuck), so I've been entertaining myself by walking to the park with my camera bag.
The one thing I just can't seem to do is leave many lenses at home. Every one has such a different character that I have an impossible time trying to decide on one or two, so I end up with a Lowepro backpack most of the time. My AF lenses sit in the china cabinet without a second thought, but I have to have a good selection of MF in my bag JUST IN CASE. I've lost my mind.
The Volna has quickly become one of my favorite lenses, and the poor Canon 100mm 2.8 hasn't seen the light of day in a long time. It's funny...I always shoot everything wide open, but I keep the Volna around 5.6 so I can have my stars. |

Nope, very much 2.0
The roses were really in one line, almost on top of each other, so I think it gives a false illusion of depth. I don't know if it matters much to the photo, but I do have the older Jupiter with the bumpy focus. |
