Shot with Fuji Velvia 50 this time.

The Velvia has its place in the toolbox, as the orange cloud colors
were subtle. Velvia picked up the colors nicely, although it shows a
strong blue spectrum.

I felt it was better to go "full silhouette" rather than try to bring out
shadows. You can only do what is possible with the limitations of the
slow film.

Brown Pelicans in the background.

A fine camp on a large granite rock. The Velvia rendered a STRONG
blue sky; however, the sky actually WAS a very deep blue in this
90 degree angle away from the sun. I'm very happy with the greens -
they are exactly what I saw with my eyes.

Note the strong reds on the game trail - that is true to the scene, as
the old trail was filled with young huckleberry bushes that turn a
bright red in late Summer.

I like the first one, anyway what a nice weather.

I would like to see the the first image in wide angle too, or
that lock in a far shot.
