Very nice, and funny, too. I like the colours and smooth bokeh.

Thanks, appreciate the comments!

Well it was that huge area of these orange poppies and just one white in between, so that came immediately to my mind... Wink

I can just repeat what is already said. Like a good painting ... from Claude Monnet.

The the guy who runs that small but elusive park "Hermannshof" here (opposite my appartment funny enough) has a friend in the US and they exchange plants and seed on a regular basis, so there a plenty or prairie flowers for instance...no wonder these poppies are there. Never seen them anywhere again in Germany!

Tons of different Echinacea flowering now!

Nice shot. Did you spot the white a mile away? Smile

This truly IS a painterly image. Cool I really feel that the "variable focusing" on the flowers lends an effect of impressionism, and the inclusion of the one white flower is very cool.

Thanks Larry - that was my intention actually. The windy day also produced some wash out effect on the orange poppies, but the white one was surprisingly calm, so that helped to create that "effect", assisted by the creamy bokeh of the CV 125mm and the f2.5

Cheers,

Nice Smile Very good spotting this flower.
This is something I often look for myself, the thing that seperates themself from the surroundings.
