Hello,

I would like to buy, or at least hear some recommendations for M42 mount 2x teleconverter. I heard that vivitar, soligor or komura ones are decent, is that correct?

Komura Telemore 95 is ok, as is the Tamron SP M42 F-System item. Many of the (originally) cheap ones in M42 are pretty crap.

Take a double focal length lens instead of use 2X TC. With TC you will loose 2 f-stop and M42 tele lenses are not expensive at all.
