Walmart and Sam's will stop all film processing by Dec 31, according to
a poster at RFF. No big deal about film negatives, but this ramps up the
price of slide developing by oh, 100% or so. Will be talking to the Walmart
I have my film done to see when the dropdeadline is for film.

Wow, this is bad. If they stop film processing, I guess they will not be selling film either.

I suppose it's ruthless accountancy...
If a line isn't making a minimum amount of profit they kick it out, no matter that there might be a residual amount of custom, enough to make it pay its way and even turn in a profit.
