I think that this lens is a good one for nature work. See

Is it OK for you?

Two great pictures, thanks for sharing... I'm deliberating between this version and the f/2.8 version. Which one would be better with regards to corner sharpness?

I only have the 20/4. For Orio the 2,8 is better in overall sharpness and the F/4 is a bit better in distortion "0". If I don't remember his words in the wrong way.

I'm happy with my F/4 but don't have another 20 mm lens to compare

F/4 corners? Well see by yourself my pics. Are goods corners I think.

The 2.8 is sharper but sharpness isn't everything in a superwide.
The 2.8 also focuses closer if I remember correctly, this might be important for some.
The corners however are better in the 4/20 and the distortion is almost absent (no need to use barrel correction in photoshop...)
So for my priorities, the 4/20 is the better lens.

@ Rino: the second photo is very good, reminds me of the forest illustrations in prehistory books.

Well, Orio, it's Argentina. We are into this (excuse me, I will put down my stone hammer). Laughing
