More pictures later. Also bought a "near mint" waist level finder from Shutterblade, should be here tomorrow. The camera was bought from KEH: "EX" grade, body + acute-matte screen.

Thanks buddy! Done. I should be getting the WLF tomorrow morning so I'll take more pictures. The camera's in great shape. Hardly any wear on the outside or on the screen!

I've never quite grasped what the Hasselblad cameras are all about, but your clear pictures are getting me closer to a better understanding. Wink

Many thanks.

They're a very simple yet beautiful camera - the fact that they're made out of one piece of aluminium alloy is also quite impressive.

And the 'C' lenses that go on these 500 bodies are really special - not to mention the CFV digital backs Wink

Classic, elegant, simple. Good score, Streetwaves.

When I first looked through the waistlevel finder of a Hassi 500 and a 80mm Zeiss standard lens, it just blew me away!!!

Thanks guys. Here's more of the stuff. I was attempting to put together a good Hasselblad for the least amount of money possible, and I think it came out well - although, I will be replacing the Sonnar with an 80mm Planar ASAP.

Here's the rundown:

Hasselblad 500 C/M Chrome with acute-matte screen

Black 150mm Sonnar f4
\

Chrome waist-level finder

Chrome A12 back, insert # doesn't match

Total (not including shipping) $475.

I decided to buy the non-matching back because I heard enough that it was a rumor that it would affect anything at all. The back is in uglier shape than the other parts, though, so I might replace it in the future. Overall, though, I think I done pretty good.

Oh Keep the Sonnar as well.
$170 for that lens is a must keep.
The Bokeh and character from that Hassy 4/150 is great.
I would love to have one adapted to my Canon.
In fact if you decide you will sell it let me know. But don't sell Wink
