Hey,
I just received my new lens a Tamron SP 60-300mm, looks new except for the front element where on a small part of the front element the coating seems to be flaking off. Looks like little silver flakes on the edge of the element. It could be something else, obviously im no expert ;D.
Should I be worried about that? Will it get worse? Confused

Silvery-bluey clamshell shaped flecks, almost like an oil on water effect? Possibly the start of a fungal growth.

What a shame, oh well now at least I know what to do so it doesn't keep growing. Confused
