Vario-Elmar 80-200/4. Their optical designs are very similar somehow.

For me it is a zoom. I don't like the Phallic shape of this lens or many zooms really.
Poilu has used his more than I did before selling. Maybe he will give some better insight.

100% agree. I rarely use this zoom, only when I need 200mm (twice a year)
compared to jupiter9 - canon 85:1.8 - contax 85:1.4
