Love the snake - it's well to remember it was taken through glass. That is a really fine lens

First one Attila is very striking, perfect composition.
2nd one is special.
3rd one is simple and therefore very nice.

Can't choose a favourite Smile ...

Cheers

What is the reasonable price of alu Biometar 80/2.8 in M42?

PostPosted: Sat Nov 22, 2008 5:33 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

Any if you find, not many available.

I am ready to pay for this lens around 200 USD.

I've got this EXA version but I don't have an EXA camera. US200 for EXA version is reasonable. I got mine at US175+shipping.

What kind of camera do you have ? For Olympus 4/3 Exakta adapter available. If you don't have yet Olympus a used Olympus body can be cheap 200-300 USD.

Our member Luis made an article here how he adapt Exakta to Pentax. Seek for it if interest.

Thanks a lot. I have 2 different version of Biometar 2.8/80 M42 already. One with "T" while another without.

I suppose they have no significant difference, what is your experience ?

PostPosted: Sun Nov 23, 2008 8:06 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

I like the without "T" better.

"T" is their famous coating like today T* I found also many time without T better than with T
