Arlon, the moon is something like 2000 miles in diameter. I very much doubt
this is half scale. Laughing Just kidding, and a splendid shot, for sure! Smile

Hmmm, how about resized to 50%?? Agree half scale my be a bit of an error! (-:}

Was this taken with a telescope? Or a long tele lens?

It was taken with 600mm f4 Nikkor +2X TC if I remember as well. Clarity is amazing in my opinion.

Shot the full moon last night. Good example of how much better less than full looks. Hard to get any relief to show on the full moon..
