PETRIFY --- can mean ...CHANGE INTO STONE ...
I am petrified -- I am changed into STONE
So Katastrofo propably is not able say anything -- the same as you

So Katastrofo is very wright, as I already thought ! All of those structures examples are shot from stones. And most of them are things which changed to stone e.g. wood.
I was at the Minerals and Fossils fair in München at the weekend, which is the biggest in Europe of its kind.
I got a bit obsessed by all those diffent forms, structures, colors of stone. There were very bad light conditions, so I had use very wide aperture and ISO rates ...

There was just ambient light of the hall - nearly no light and somtimes extra light from the exhibitors. Therefor I was forced to take apertures from 2.4 to about 3.5 and high ISO rates (between 400 and 800), mostly about 500 because it's the acceptable limit of the K10D.
I was shooting in raw for that reason and adjusted color balance later.
