As I have told you in the other post (part I) several packages arrived.
One was a small one with a new 4 GB high speed CF card inside that I got for €13,-.
Another one was a Tamron AF tele lens for my dad's Fuji.
The third one was this: http://forum.mflenses.com/viewtopic,p,98733.html#98733

And the fourth one had this inside:

On the 350D:

And on the Spotmatic:

The front lens is rather huge, isn't it?

This zebra lens is in very good condition. It has two peculiarities, though:
1) The automatic aperture mechanism is deactivated. I don't care since the manual control works perfectly.
2) There is "VEB Filmfabrik Wolfen" and a serial engraved on the outer rim. I like this a lot. This adds some special "flair" to this lens.

And the best thing is: bargain king has done it again! Wink I got this lens for € 30,-! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

HI LucisPictor

Congaratulations!!!!

My 4/20 is really ugly, scarce, fungus, haze and any more that you want to see.

And do his work very well at F/8 or, better, F/11.

Your's will be OK at F/5,6 to f/16? I hope!

The best for you and your bargain super lens!!

Rino.

Wow, nice deal.
Never knew about the real size of the flek 20, the 350D looks so tiny Smile

What does the "Filmfabrik Wolfen" engrave mean?
Filmfabrik Wolfen was the manufacturer of the ORWO films. Is this a kind of special edition made for Wolfen or a accession number? Interesting.

You are so lucky to get that lens for that price. I paid LOTS more for mine (which is a beauty, I must say)

Now get out, take some pictures with your new toy and show us.

Enjoy,

Fer

"Filmfabrik" means "film factory".
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filmfabrik_Wolfen (German!)
I don't why this lens has this name engraved, but I like it.

Lucky? Yes, probably. Or rather patient! I had been looking for this lens for about two years now. As I often say: patience pays - esp. for lens "collectors". Wink
