I used Agfachrome 50 for years....

Is it really AGFA?

Jes.

(BTW, I like your new "radiactive" avatar Smile )

Only mention I can find is of new old stock...
http://www.fotoimpex.co.uk/ and they've already run out of some.

I agree with Dave about this APX being old stock. As far as I can find out, all Agfa consumer film production ceased when AgfaPhoto went bust in 2005. I thought I remembered reading that Foma in the Czech Republic were starting to make it again but I can't find it. Rodinal developer is still being made.

According to Silverprint, new rolls of Rollei Retro 35mm & 120 B&W film are cut from left-over parent rolls of APX100 & 400.

Expiration date on the above auction is 05/2011. Would that be old stock?
Seems like it would be recently made. Maybe it's just a "wish fulfillment"
on my part... Laughing

I reckon it would have had a long expiry date on it to start with, so it might be from the last batch. Whatever, it's still fresh, as they claim.
Assuming it's not fake, of course.

Digging around reveals nothing about an actual startup of new AGFA, but I wouldn't be at all surprised if a Chinese maker hadn't bought the plant. If so, I hope they produce the films that people want, and not re-package and sell something else, as is mentioned here...

Thanks, Dave, sifting through your link, it seems new old stock, indeed.
I think I will stick with Reala for color and am about to see how Neopan
Acros does for B&W.

Ok, I tried to find Neopan specifications:

It is not about the website contents because other films are found:

Didn't find any news that say it is gone .. hope that Ilford still stays alive.
