Just preping and testing, so some output here for your - hopefully - viewing pleasure...

I used my ReflectionDisc for in-camera WB which leads to the following UV "color" palette:

The 375-390nm group (violet UV reflection):

The 350-370nm group (yellow UV reflection):

That last shot, a Helianthus tuberosus (in female state) image is quite interesting, as the full blooming flower shows a 350-370nm reflection, whereas the younger buds one in the 375-390nm range. Obviously there are stages in UV reflections I would assume.

[my stuff needs some lengthy explanations, so go read http://www.uvir.eu the last entries to understand all that, should you be bold enough ...]

Your shots are always amazing, just like taken on an alien world!

In a way, it is an alien world to us - the world of the bees!

As always, your images from the world "beyond our eyes" is first-rate.
Simply gorgeous and excellent. I could look at hundreds of these and
never get tired. Exceptional work in a different medium, Klaus.
