Hi, many thanks for this comparison and a happy new year.

I have the lens now, too, and I like it. Trioplan 2,8/100 is much too expensive. So I work around it.
I adapted a Trioplan 3,5/75 and a Pentacon AV 2,8/80 (new version of Diaplan 2,8/80).

I compared als the TTArtisan with a picture of Trioplan 2,8/100. I found that the first lens is more near to the rand and so izt is a little bit more sensitive for lens flare. Many Trioplans have originally a lens hood. I printed a lens hood for the TT Artisan with 3D Printer. This helps a lot.

I cannot provide a direct comparison between my lenses at the moment.

I just want to mention that the TTArtisan is also beautiful without bubbles.

Sweet! Like 1 Like 1

I still think the TTartisan is a good buy if you want bubbles and don't have any projector lenses. With a shade it also has quite strong contrast compared to older lenses. That can be a good or a bad thing depending on what is wanted.
