Bokeh is pleasing, but my copy is not really sharp even at F4. I had to apply lots of sharpening in the following picture. You get, what you pay for. Nevertheless, it is not a bad lens!

Mark and nurkov - I've changed your pictures to links because they are way too wide for this forum. Max. width is 1024px.
Please repost them if you wish, using the Upload Picture button, and they will be resized automatically.

Thanks
Peter

No problem for me, I just wanted to post a big enough picture to properly show the sharpness.

A good all rounder. Nice photos. Easy and cheap to get and there's plenty of old Prakticas about.

Yes, but 1024 is the max. width allowed Mark, apart from in the Oversized Gallery. Perhaps you don't realise the problems
oversize images cause for people who aren't lucky enough to have a widescreen monitor. They ruin the line lengths of all
the text on that page, making it necessary to scroll from side to side to read every post. If everyone was to put a carriage
return at the end of every line in their messages, as I've done in this message, the problem wouldn't occur - but they don't.

As I said, if you want to show the full size image, please do like most others and use the Upload Picture button. It
automatically resizes pics within the limit, but clicking on the resulting image takes you to the full size one. You can add
"Click for full size image" if you want.
