I was looking at the rock band photos, then laughed when I saw the boy playing the cow bells. An interesting contrast.
Great photos, you got the atmosphere of the rock band great. _________________ Hero in the 'messin-with-cameras-for-the-hell-of-it department'. Official. |

Regarding the focus issue, this is what I did:
Take every adapter with contacts on them, take a pair of pliers, then remove all contacts with pliers and throw them in the bin.
I have never found an adapter with 'AF confirmation' to be accurate. Some of them were close but that's not good enough, it's either in focus or it's not, no grey area.
Bear in mind all the adapters I buy are the cheaper variety, mostly from big_is on ebay. They fit the lens to the body very well so I'm happy with that aspect. But AF confirmation? Don't make me laugh. _________________ Gary

I used AF confirm for all M42 Carl Zeiss Lens . I have Flektogon 35, Pancolar 50, Sonnar 135 . AF confirm work well on all - image is perfectly sharp - focusing is perfect. But for P6 lens to canon is something wrong.
I have Canon 1100D - relative small viewfinder - when AF confirm focus in viewfinder image is relative sharp but output image on LCD is misfocused (i talk about P6 lens now) _________________ https://www.instagram.com/josef.novy/

If you get any of those adapters to give accurate focus confirmation you're doing very well, I couldn't get a single one to perform as it should.
I've bought over 20 of them but I've given up on the idea, nowadays I just buy the basic adapters instead and rely on my dodgy eyesight for most situations.
If I have the chance to take my time over a shot I'll use focus peaking, that's far more reliable than any adapter I've tried. _________________ Gary

Perhaps P6 lens focus changes as aperture is closed -- in focus wide open is not in focus stopped down.
Bill Graham used to sit backstage and play cow bells at some of his rock concerts. I remember seeing lots of SF rock bands with cow bells... _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
