This is a superb lense and i wonder, why there´s no thread about it.

Impressive photos!
Bugs disturb me a bit but as long as I can hold the sight they look extremely detailed! Smile

I am not sure of the chronology, but I believe the 2.5 version was around a lot longer and the MF 2.8 version was quickly replaced by the AF version. Please someone correct me if I have it wrong. Anyway it looks as though the 2.8 is right up there with the 2.5 (which I have)

Yes, there were 2 versions: model 52B (1979-1988), then model 52BB (1988-1997). The 90/2.8 72B started 1996 and was sold until 2006, but you can still buy them new.
