I know it is a AF lens but it can be fun when you use it on MF camera.

It's pretty good actually, especially in the Pentax KA mount where it is in effect fully auto everything! lol
Seriously though, it's not too far off the MF 70-210 constant aperture SP Adaptall model in IQ....

No. I will go for a Canon 4/70-200 L (IS) if i need a AF tele lens.
BTW. If you use it with the Nikon AI adaptor, you will get a fully automatic tele lens on your Nikon MF camera. _________________ https://www.instagram.com/_lens_fever/

Wise choice. I have the Canon as well although without IS and it is a superb lens. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |

Hmm
I fear people are missing the point about the SP Tamron AF.. it will AF with nearly ANY brand of camera.. from an ancient Konica T3 or MD Minolta or FD Canon through to a recent well, nearly anything!
Sure the L series are great for AF - on an EOS... and an EOS alone..
This will work no matter what brand you have, now or in the future, as long as an adaptall mount was made for it - and the Chinese are even making them for the EOS too... lol
I have adaptall mounts for:
Minolta A / Sony DSLR
Minolta MD
Canon EOS
Canon FD
Canon FL
Konica
Fuji
Olympus OM
Yashica C/Y
M42
Pentax K mount (with 'A' so full auto exposure modes too)
Topcon
Exacta
T Mount
Nikon
Miranda
ALL can have a nice auto-focus 70-210mm F4 with this lens

Although the Tamron AF 70-210mm f4 is a good lens, it is not an SP model. _________________ "I've got a Nikon camera, I like to take a photograph" - Paul Simon |

I live in HK, not UK. If i can bid, i will place a 40 GBP bid which is a more fair price for a forum member.
To be honest, i am out of space to store such a lens. _________________ https://www.instagram.com/_lens_fever/
