Autumn is nearly over, not much color left, Tamron at 350mm f11.

Interesting landscape, in the top what looks like native Australian landscape, with rock formations and evergreens, in the bottom the Lombardy Poplars really look like two aliens there, at least for me Very Happy
I like this vertical composition, you can follow the path all the way up.

You are quite right about the surrounding hills with all the granite, we have
very few deciduous trees in Australia. I must admit i am quite envious of autumn trees that are so colorful in America.
