I don't think so. The lens is just like that the picture, little above. I don't know whats the difference between the T and T2 mount regarding the registered distance (if there is any). I thought at that solution too, but I think I would need to make some modifications to the adaptor (because the bigger reg.distance).

You should dismantle the rear mount (3 screws) and take mesures then post it here. Someone will then tell you if you can adapt a T or T2 mount directly on your TAIR - or another trick.

Hi,
I also use Tair-11A (rather old, SN 004548!), but with Oly E-300 (I use M42-4/3 adapter) and I've never had problems with contrast (excluding photos taken directly against the sunlight). Sharpness isn't magnificent, but is pretty good - also when aperture is wide open. Sample pictures:

1) F/3.5



2) F/4 or F/5.6 (I don't remember...)



3) F/11 or F/16 (I don't remember)

Orio - Tair is very good lens... but actually i'm loving my "new" lens - Trioplan 100/2.8. I love his bright glow and specific bokeh Very Happy Tair gives more neutral results, so it's more universal lens.

BTW I ate this mushroom... It's "kania czubajka", very tasty Smile

In my opinion, sharpness is rather good - but Olympus E-300 has small CCD element and requires very sharp lenses (with good optical resolution) to produce sharp images Smile
