In regards to my S-M-C 50/1.4 thread..

http://forum.mflenses.com/s-m-c-tak-50-1-4-sell-or-keep-t20125.html

I think i have figured out the problem. It seems as though the aperture pin is the culprit. It wont allow me to fully screw the lens into my adapters.

Looking at the pin, when it is depressed enough to engage the blades, it still sits up over 1mm from the body, it is this that is causing my issues.

My pentacon is fine, what about the Zeiss lenses? I don't have any experience with Zeiss as i have invested in Leitz for my modified Sigma SD-14 instead. Any input will be welcomed.

It looks as though both of my Taks will go up for sale.

I have just jumped on eBay to try and figure out relevant pricing Shocked Prices are all over the place. Could you all please give me a guide to what my S-M-C Takumar 50/1.4 and Super Takumar 35/3.5 are worth. The 35 is in perfect condition and comes with caps, case and hood.

Why selling such nice lenses? Get yourself a flangeless adapter (the Taks don't need a flange, just flick the A/M switch on M) and you're all set.

See, that shows how much i know about these lenses!

Now all i need is some decent weather tomorrow and i'll recheck.

Thanks very much for the feedback, i'd rather keep them but the focusing was doing my head in.

I'll let you know how i go.
