Students in Bologna

This is a reworking (crop and grayscale convert) of a photo in the series I made during Carsten's visit. I leave it quite large because it is supposed to be printed large, as the environment is as important as the characters: the place you see is a common meeting point for university students, and the scene is very typical of what you can see in Bologna everyday

Whatever the reason, I am far happier when converting to B&W the digital images made with the M9 and the Biogon 2/35, like this one. They seem to deliver me the presence and contrast I want much easier than when I convert Canon EOS images.
