What's the actual difference between Cassar, Cassarit, Cassaron, ... ? I have two different Cassarit 45mm f2.8 (one with -E-, one without), both for Paxette M39 mount. The only difference i see is the is that optics barrel on the back (on without -E- lens) is protruding for 5-6mm more than on -E- version. Today Cassar 45mm f2.8 shown on my radar for few eur so i had to have it Smile I'll have it next week but from the pictures, it looks exactly the same. I really like both of them, maybe best "normal" triplets I have

The Cassaron is an automatic, which isn't working well on my copy. If I remember correctly the Cassarit -E- 50mm was more like a 45mm than a 50 when tested.
