Something I learned about the Kiev-4

One thing are the lenses that are automatically coupled when you mount them (the 50mm Jupiter and Sonnar lenses)

Another thing are the lenses that need to be coupled to the rangefinder manually (such as the Jupiters 9, 11 and 12)

I have found that the lenses that need to be coupled manually, need to be mounted with both the camera AND the lens set to infinity focus. Else, the focus scale will be out of whack.
