Such a beautiful area.
You should feel fortunate to have such a nice countryside near to you.
It reminds me of parts Switzerland a little bit.
Or at least that is the closest I have to compare with.
Favorite photo is the second to last.
The Distagon 1.4/35 is really your best brush if you asked me Very Happy

Thank you Andy and Patrick Smile

The Apennines are older mountains than the Alps. They are not as high and sharp, and not as green, and in general not as showy. They are also much less known. And pretty much deserted, except for the tourist places. But they have a sort of wild, rough and sometimes harsh beauty that appeals to me, maybe because I am born here Smile They are the backbone of Italy, they are 1500 kilometers long, from Piedmont to the last tip of Calabria. Much of our history has happened on them and they are full of small hidden treasures, artworks, villages, small communities, whose existence most people including italians just ignore.

what a nice work!

I agree with Andy -- Distagon 1.4/35 just clearly draws a perfect outlines

but I am really impressed by Flek 20 -- it has done the job in perfect way..

and Biotar and Leica show off their capabilities regarding colour rendition and sharpness..

I have to say that I was really relaxing by watching these pictures..

thanks guys

@poilu: in shot #10 I forgot to stop down, hence the soft corners. The 2.8/20 Flek needs to be stopped down much to have good corners. It is however very sharp in the middle. Overall I still prefer the 4/20, less sharp but better corners and almost perfect planarity.

@cilinderman: about green: in the north, we have a continental climate, similar to southern Germany or Austria, with enough quantity of rain to have green grass at least in the Springtime (not so much in the summer).
